Safeguarding Children

We all work at Brinkley Grove to make sure that the children who attend here are safe and secure. We take the welfare of all children very seriously and follow the Department for Education’s guidance on safeguarding.

Our school policy, which you can read below, sets out how we promote an environment where children can learn in a safe, caring and positive environment. Further it details how we respond if there are any concerns.

Other policies that are essential to our approach to keeping children safe are also found below.

The Headteacher, Mr Darren Smith, is our Designated Safeguarding Lead. The deputy leads are Mrs Bronya Patmore, the school’s deputy headteacher and Mr Mike Foster, senior team member. Our governor with responsibility for safeguarding is Mr Chris Martin.

Should you have any safeguarding concerns about a child, you can contact one of the safeguarding leads via the school office.
