The Government is allocating funding to all Primary Schools in England to help improve the quality of P.E and sports provision.

This means that you should use the premium to:
The aims of the funding is to:
We have invested in a range of measures to help children to stay active in a variety of ways. This includes sports coaches, equipment, a new running track and astro-turf area as well as play equipment for breaks and lunches.
Swimming
We promote swimming regularly and take children in Year 4 for 20 lessons at Leisureworld. Due to the Covid pandemic, this was not possible in 2020 – 21 and so we are planning to ensure that both Year 4 and Year 5 have their swimming lessons in 2021 – 22.
Clubs
We are continuing to offer a wide range of extra curricular clubs after school that children can take part in. If you require any further information about these clubs then please contact Mrs. Kate Wadling our Enrichment coordinator on Kwadling@brinkleygrove.essex.sch.uk.
If you have any queries about school sport funding, or are involved in any sports clubs/associations outside of school and would like to promote them within the school, then please do not hesitate to contact me on sbulpitt@brinkleygrove.essex.sch.uk.
