Remote Learning

Remote Learning

There is detailed information here about our Remote Learning Offer and the programs that we use to support learning from home.

If you have any questions or concerns about your child’s learning, contact your child’s teacher in the first instance via Class Dojo Messages and they will be happy to help.

Stay safe online

Home learning inevitably involves more screen time for children and so we encourage all families to make sure that they are aware what their children are accessing online. Here are some very useful websites that parents can use to help them keep their children safe on line.

·        CEOP (Child Exploitation and Online Protection)

·        Childnet

·        Internet Matters

·        Net Aware

·        NSPCC

·        Parent Info

·        Safer Internet

Keep devices up to date

Remote Learning

We also recommend that all computers, laptops and tablets are kept up to date – check by looking for ‘auto-update’ and follow any instructions. This helps to keep any internet devices safe from virus and hackers.

If families need support with technology to access home learning, contact Mrs Emms via Class Dojo messages and we will do our best to help.

Supporting Routines

We all know that school offers structure and routine which helps the children learn. This can be harder to achieve with home schooling. Whilst the children are at home, the teachers are working hard to structure your child’s day but we are aware that it may not work for all children or all families. In order to assist, you may find the sheet below helpful as way of making sure that your child/ren complete a range of tasks and can see that they are being successful too.

If you do need support, contact your child’s teacher via Class Dojo and we will be happy to help.
